The problem seminar on development of productive forces of mankind for the students of the Ist course of Academy led by the rector, professor Sergey Ierokhin, was held within the walls of National Museum of History of Ukraine. Special thanks to the wonderful guide Marina Strelnik, under whose guidance 400 thousand years of technical progress of mankind - from the most ancient stone rubble to the perfect instruments of labor, household items, and artistic masterpieces of ancient Greek civilization imperceptibly flashed past.
Recently the editorial-publishing department of the Academy has issued a monograph "War Crimes: Issues of Theory, Law and Practice" prepared by the acting head of the department of criminal law, criminology, civil and economic law, professor of this department, PhD in law, associate professor Nikolay Ivanovich .
The content of the monograph reflects the issues of origins and genesis of criminal liability for war crimes in Ukraine from the times of Kiyvska Rus until the present time. We invite all who wish to familiarize with the text of the monograph in the library of the Academy.
On June 3, 2019, within the framework of the European Scientific and Educational Studios (a joint project of the National Academy of Management and SPACETIME Association for the Promotion of Globalization of Education and Science) a round table on "Digitalization of Education: challenges of globalization and new opportunities for Ukraine" was held.
The main topics of the discussion were:
1) World experience and trends in the digitalization of education
2) Problems and priorities of the digitalization of education in Ukraine
3) Discussion of the concept of the national educational project "Digital School
4) Discussion of the project mobiSchool UOP "ACCENT".

The National Academy of Management held an open lecture for masters on "Tax and monetary policy of Ukraine at the present stage" by Honored Economist of Ukraine, politician and publicist Aleksandr Kirsh.
During the event Alexander Kirsh explained his vision of how to improve the state tax system by introducing a turnover tax. The lecturer also shared his views on the dangers of unjustified growth of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar.
Dear readers, departing from the usual forms of news, we offer you a kind of hit-parade of answers for those who in recent years have inquired about higher education from Rector Sergei Ierokhin. It is these questions that reveal the perspective of education in Ukraine. These questions, not as simple and naïve as they might seem at first sight, require separate consideration.
♦ At number 10 on my hit list is a request from a pensioner. A lady of honourable age comes in, she is in her seventies, her educational background is very solid. She shudderingly takes her " crooks" out of her bag and says:
"Here, I want to learn from you". But these are rather isolated cases (precisely in the context of second higher education, not specialised courses). A senior graduate of the Academy is Alexandra Shatokhina, aged 70, who obtained her second higher (legal) education at the Academy and is a manager of Audit Ukraine firm.
♦ In the ninth place, the question "When is the holiday? "To be more precise, is it possible to get a second higher degree without getting the first one? Such an option is institutionally impossible. A second education is acquired solely on the basis of the first (an already acquired Bachelor's, Master's or Specialist's degree). I've already explained so many times: the only way to get two degrees at once is to choose a double diploma programme from the very beginning, studying full-time in one speciality and part-time in the other. In other words, at the end of your studies you have two diplomas, e.g. Law (Master's degree by correspondence) and Finance (Master's degree by correspondence).
