An educational environment should be a space of development, support, and safety for everyone. When bullying occurs within an academic community, it not only undermines personal growth but can also cause long-term psychological harm. For this reason, fostering a healthy, inclusive, and mentally safe educational space is a priority for the National Academy of Management.
During the session, an original guidance handbook was presented, developed by Maksym Serpukhov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Innovative Development, together with Bohdan Liashenko, the Academy’s practicing psychologist.
The handbook materials include explanations of the causes of bullying, recommendations for early identification of problematic situations, communication tools, and effective response strategies for students, faculty members, and parents.
Special attention was given to practical exercises and the analysis of real-life cases. This format enabled participants to better understand the material, learn to recognize various forms of bullying, and develop skills for creating a mentally healthy and supportive environment.
The National Academy of Management continues its systematic efforts to ensure that every student feels safe, has the opportunity to realize their potential, and can grow in an atmosphere of respect and mutual support.
